The Beaver Lodge Original Colony (BLOC) Competition Series Season 1 continued with Chapter III: Lights. Camera. BLOC., bringing the competition into the world of cinema.
Following the kickoff of Chapter I and the advertising challenge of Chapter II, participants were challenged to transform the BLOC story and identity into a movie poster.
The result was another collection of creative interpretations, unique visual styles, and imaginative takes on the BLOC universe.
A Cinematic Challenge
Chapter III invited creators to imagine BLOC as a movie.
Using the story, vision, and identity of BLOC as inspiration, participants were tasked with creating a movie poster that could capture the attention of an audience and communicate a story through a single visual.
Every creator approached the challenge differently. Some focused on the characters and lore, while others explored dramatic concepts, cinematic compositions, and completely original interpretations of the BLOC world.
Together, the entries made Chapter III another memorable chapter in the Competition Series.
Chapter III Champion
After the entries were evaluated by the judging panel, 8 (@OCTOWEST) was crowned the Chapter III Champion.
The winning entry stood out through its creative direction, visual impact, and interpretation of the cinematic theme, earning the highest overall recognition from the judges.
As Chapter III Champion, 8 received the 0.2 SOL Chapter Prize and earned the distinction of becoming one of the champions of the BLOC Competition Series Season 1.
